Not the best Pop Smart book I've read, but certainly filled with some compelling and interesting essays. More than anything, it made me want to re-read The Hunger Games trilogy.

IF A GIRL WAS ON FIRE, SHE WOULDN'T WIN THE HUNGER GAMES OR SURVIVE!!! This book should be called the author who was on drugs.

THE MOVIE IS GONNA BE AWESOME!

This is a very good collection of essays about the Hunger Games series (character analysis, literary themes, comparison to other dystopian fiction, etc.). Really good read if you enjoy thinking deeply about stories, but if you were hoping for another novel, you'll only be disappointed.

The Movie Will Probably as Great as the Book!
Can't Wait til' March 23!

So true, the movie is gonna b so horrible with the fact that the characters look nothing like the ones in the book. I hate it when they do that -__-

What is this book about?? some sort of 4 book to the Hunger Games??

i can proudly say that i reccommended this book for the library. all my friends told me it was really good so im hoping they werent wrong

Well, MeeraPremnazeer, they will change the appearance of the actors/actresses to look like the characters. I personaly think that the movie will be as good as movies like Soul Surfer, or even Percy Jackson and the Olympians Lightning Theif. Not awesome, but not terrible. Average. I'm still waiting to read this book, I have it on hold, bt I hope it will be good.

I am in the middle of reading it, it has a really good start and it's funny too, but near the middle some of the articles are a little dry, I'm trying to finish it because I have to return it soon so the rest of you can read it. =)

"Katniss and Peeta are both linked to the natural world, and in the natural world even the worst of winters is followed by a spring."
