A predictable storyline, but the actors were all great. An engaging, light comedy which ultimately leaves you smiling.

Some resemblance to "The Help" but the interactions between a middle aged french investment banker and the community of his Spanish maid.

With the success of "Bienvenue chez la Ch'tis," "Potiche," , French comedy are again getting popular and amazingly successful. This movie seemed to have joined the tide. I don't know if there's a connection with the films'setting usually around the 50's and 60's, but this looks to be the case! But what an era that was anyway and these Gauls' interest for that lost yet beautiful decades were just perfect and excellent recipe for screen success. Spain's illustrious actresses are well represented here and well, even if the story is so-so, the execution is as polished as an exquisite gem!
