My idea of hell is to be trapped in a room with Jesse and Celine, and unable to escape from their inane whining and bourgeois angst.

"Before Sunrise" is probably the best of the three. This one is getting a bit tedious.

The first half of the movie is really boring and has very little depth. The second half gets a lot more real. Of the three movies, this is my least favourite but still worth a watch if you enjoyed the previous two.

The main characters and the director were also the writers; their commentary is excellent, going into the details of how the dialogue and scenes came to be. This Romantic Comedy goes beyond the usual scope in that it tackles the inevitable bedroom scene that starts so romantically, progresses to a fight and talking again in the end. Very REAL. Very well done.

Wonderfully co-written by both lead actors and director Richard Linklater, they have created the best of the three movies in this series. Jesse and Celine show their flaws and vulnerabilities, and their verbal joustings are as good as ever. Julie Delphy and Ethan Hawke have great on screen chemistry, and as their characters relationship gets more complex and complicated, things just get more interesting.

Unlike some of the other commentators, I found the first two really chatty and boring too, so this just seemed like a continuation of those films. It could've been called "What We Talk About When We Talk About Love" if that title weren't taken. The key word here it talk. Man, they do not shut up, about politics, family, work, books and, of course, relationships. Maybe it would've worked with different actors, as I find both leads irritating. I like director Richrard Linklate, but this bored me to tears. The Greek setting it pretty though. Nominated for best screenplay (2014) somehow.

I hated the first film, skipped the second and foolishly watched the third. Wooden characters and boring dialogue. What a waste of time!!!

This movie was a huge disappointment after the first two. I think the first movie was my fav.
I expected alot more romance finally to happen, I think the writers really failed to hit the mark.
I give it 2 thumbs down and no stars.
All the arguing was really a turn off.

This movie was a waste of time!
