Everything I had hoped it would be.
Set in such a distant era, this film fleshes out the surroundings and character of that man so important, yet so shadowy in the accounts.
My favorite aspect was the innate fact that it so predates the ills of our modern era, and ascribes simple meaning to every human life.
Alienating materialism is unknown. What is approached is the first brushes with God, the concept of which is not immediately understood by others in a society where clay idols and multiple named gods had been worshiped.
